I don't know...
I have a *new* Windows Vista Premium Edition 32-bit.
It's from a store and doesn't seem to be Beta.
i think the solution might be what dev talked about... only I can't
find\see
the link he mentioned...
I can't find the way to activate Aero... And I KNOW I have it... as
I've
seen it working in the past... And I KNOW my computer is capable of
using it,
as my performance table says so...
If it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't even know where to start
looking
for an answer.
Anyone got more ideas?
Please...
..?
:
RTM stands for Release to Manufactuirng as compared to the Beta,
ReleaseCanditate1, or RC2 release and is version ..6000 of Vista
which is
the veresion that you can now purchase.
I don't know what RTM release is... but the Welcome Center sais
OEM... does
that help?
:
Are you running the Vista RTM release or an earlier release? I ask
because I
have a fried who is now having the same problem with RC2.

Well, I can't find the "OPEN CLASSIC APPEARANCE PROPERTIES link"
that
dev
mentioned...
And my "Desktop Performence for Windows Aero" is showing 5.9...
which
according to the windows help & support, is THE best there is
right
now.
I really like all that desktop animation... What could possibly
have
happened? : /
Richard... you totally solved my nVidia problem (with the blue
screen)...
I
found the updated driver & now all is well...
Please... help me with this 3D Flip & Aero issue...
:
If you loaded any updates, especially driver updates, go run
the
Performance
Information tool again. You may need to update your
performance
numbers
to
get Aero back.

It worked fine a few hours ago. I don't know what I did but
now it
just
does
what Alt+TAB would do in WinXP. I can't seem to find the
solution in
the
Help
& Support... With all the improvement you'd think it'd be
there.
A small problem maybe, but I really liked the Flip 3D
feature... : \
Any ideas on how to solve it, anyone?
