Help,
Could someone help me out here? FS2004 was running fine
when I upgaded from Windows ME to Windows XP(HOME EDITION)
with the exception of a few black screen errors and
reboots. Now when I try to run fs2004 I get, "program is
not responding." I tried deleting the program completely
and reinstalling it but now I can't reinstall it. I keep
getting a message that my computer doesn't have enough
memory or disk space. I have a 40gb hard drive and only
26gbs is in used. Anyone have any solutions???

Thanks for your time'

Are you in a Limited account (not allowed to alter files on the hard drive)
or an account with Administrator rights? Have you updated to SP1 for
Windows XP at Windows Update? Have you checked in Control
Panel/Administrative Tools/Services to make sure Cryptographic Services is
enabled?

An upgrade from 9x to XP is the right way to get problems with many
programs, rather re-install XP from scratch, update it and install all
your hardware drivers, then re-install FS9. It may look like a chore
but it will certainly save you many troubles, not only with FS... Did
you check prior to installing XP that your hardware is compatible with
the new OS?
