Thinking on getting one, looking at LG Flatron L1910S. Is this a good
choice?

Size : 19"
Resolution : 1280 x 1024
Pixel Pitch : 0.294 mm
Brightness : 250 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio : 400 : 1
Viewing Angle : 176/176 (H/V)
Response Time : 25 ms
Display Colors : 16.8M
Video Signal : RGB Analog

1) With a 25ms response time, it is not a good choice for gaming. For
general purpose use it should be fine.

2) Native resolution of 1280x1024, which is standard for a 19" TFT. Be sure
you like the look of it, since text doesn't look great at other resolutions.

3) It had the standard analog video input. Higher end models offer a DVI
(digital) input, which may slightly improve image quality.
Personally, I can not see the difference.

4) Check with your retailer for warranty details, especially their
dead/always-on pixel policy.

Take a look at the Samsung 913V II, and the Hyundai ImageQuest B90A as well.

It's not that hard to see the difference. Have a look at fine text on the
screen, with DVI it will be much sharper. DVI also has the advantage that it
is less likely to suffer from interference and it doesn't suffer problems
with some patterns on the screen, eg when pixels alternate from black to
white in the win2k shutdown screen.
