Flash screen

Anyone know how to get rid of a Gateway flash screen on a pc at bootup.
Tweak UI used have an option in it but now I cant find it. Also How can I
access the BIOS on a Gateway PC...esc,f2,or delete do not seem to work. John
 
That done the trick but it was the last f key I tried, at least I got into
the BIOS and was able to disable the onboard modem. Thanks for the help.John
