FLASH ROM chip identication BIOS

Does it exist a dos program to identify the type of the flashrom used
as bios of a mobo ?
e.g awardflash detects which chip and voltage is used. But this is too
risky to use.

I know it's not a DOS program but you might want to take a look at Everest
Home Edition at www.lavalys.com. It's free for home or personal use.
