I don't know if this is the correct newsgroup but I understand Macromedia Flash Reader is a part of the windows GUI. I'm using Windows XP prof.

I can't seem to see files that run using Flash reader. I gone onto Macromedia's site but the download of their reader doesn't seem to work and I can't run the files that need that program.

Any help appreciated.

Macromedia's Flash is not delivered with Windows XP, far as I know. If
you donwloaded something from Macromedia that is supposed to work, and
it doesn't, best that you ask Macromedia about that...

Is this what you've downloaded?
http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/frameset.fhtml
It worked OK for me.

Hi Kenny,

What I'm looking for is the "Flash Player" not the "Shockwave" I have that I
need help to get the Flash Player. This is a different program. I am told it
is free but I can't get at it on their website.

Thanks.
