thinks I don't have Flash 9 installed in my Windows XP Pro. SP2's IE6.0
SP2 (all updates), but it is according to flash.com, homestarrunner.com,
etc. What's wrong?

Thank you in advance. :)

Allah's Apostle said, "Once while a prophet amongst the prophets was
taking a rest underneath a tree, an ant bit him. He, therefore, ordered
that his luggage be taken away from underneath that tree and then
ordered that the dwelling place of the ants should be set on fire. Allah
sent him a revelation: 'Wouldn't it have been sufficient to burn a
single ant (that bit you)?'" --Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 54,

This worked for me, you need to find your list of active X objects. I
have 98SE so they may be in a different place on your machine. Mine
are in C:/Windows/Downloaded Program Files. Once in, delete any Flash
and Shockwave files. Then go to the Macromedia/Adobe downloads section
and re-download both players.

Security settings too high? Try using Default Level.

Already at default. :(

Well like I said, because you are using XP, they may be in a different
place. None of those are Active X objects. Try this:
IE open/Tools/Internet options/General tab/settings button/View objects
button. Once there, clicking them open you can usually be able to
tell where they came from by either the General or the Version tab.

Interesting. It also takes me to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\
with the same listing.
