The logical solution would be to go back to IE7. Since I haven't
installed IE8 (it's BETA) I don't know if it can be removed in add and
remove programs. In the past if you removed a new version of IE it would
automatically revert to the previous version.

It can be removed via Uninstall a Program as long as Vista's service pack
level has not been upgraded after IE8 beta was installed.

The proper newsgroup for IE8 beta is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.beta.

I installed IE8 Beta to FIX my flash problems. I could never get flash to
work consistently in IE7 (despite all the fixes offered). since installing
IE8 Beta it works great. (however there are various other little quirks
that come with Beta Software)

Thanks for the info Colin. I'll make a note of it.

I know that beta sometimes put these problems in their software but its only
just been developed and before i had still ie8 beta and worked perfectly i
worked out it is shockwave not flash that is causing this and another worst
thing still i just launched microsoft worldwide telescope and i zoom into
mars and the same problem occurs.

I need help from the shockwave and Microsoft worldwide telescope as they are
showing coulored pixalated squares. unless there is an update to either of
these programmes or worldwide telescope is run by shockwave.

I really need an answer ill try uninstalling ie8 beta and let you know
whether that has worked or not thanks...
