Flash Player problem

I have watched I Player for some time but suddenly I get a message that says
that I need Flash Player in order to see programmes and gives me the
download site. I have tried 4 times now and still I cannot see I Player
After each download I get the message Flash Player downloaded successfully.
What is causing this and how to I correct it?.

Please tell us every security program you are running. Many have a
Flash-block feature. (One such program is SpywareBlaster.)

I run AVG ,Defender Spybot AD Aware and Asquared
Just before reading your reply I decided to unload Flash Player and when
installing I got a new message
"Did not pass the integrity check"
I also went to the security list on Internet Explorer and reverted to the
original settings

if You Have a win98, up to 2000
downloaded Flash Player 9
will correct it ,,
All Newer Flash Player for Xp and Up !!!
 
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I do only have XP so won't be able to
download ver9
