I have been bringing some flash movies into a Powerpoint show, both full
screen and partial screen. When I play the show, the screen flashes for a
second before the flash movie plays. The color that flashes is whatever is
defined as the background color in the movie properties. If there's a
transition to the slide, the transition plays with this color and then the
flash movie comes on. Once I have played the show, it usually starts working
right, so I thought maybe running it as a pps would work, but it didn't. I
have tried a lot of things, including combinations of the scale and window
options in properties, playing it on a laptop, playing at different
resolutions, inserting the flash movie manually or using an add-in (I have
PowerPlugs FlashReady), creating the flash movie in Player 8 or 9 format.
I'm really puzzled because I can't find anything about this on the internet,
yet it's happening to me very consistently, and I'm about to give up on using
Flash.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
