I did that, but it still opens a new windows explorer window when I

actually has two drives: Cruzer, and U3 System. The latter is seen as
a CD-ROM drive. When I plug in the flash drive, each of the two drives
opens a windows explorer window even if I have "Take no action"
selected for auto play. I was able to get the Cruzer drive to stop
doing that by putting a .jpg file on the drive, and then the
instruction of "Take no action" for pictures worked, and the explorer
window did not open. Without the .jpg file on the drive, the
insruction to take no action is ignored and an explorer window opens.
However, I can't add a .jpg file to the U3 System drive because it is
a read-only drive and I can't find a way to be able to place a .jpg
file on the drive.
