Hi,

I have to make a PPT presentation that contains a number
of Flash slides.

My client need to run it on a Mac. Does Flash in PPT even
work on a Mac? It's clunk at the best of times on a PC.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,

To be honest with you, I haven't a clue. But I know where the Mac
PowerPeople hang out.

Check for the Mac PowerPoint newsgroup at :
microsoft.public.powerpoint.mac
-- or at --
microsoft.public.mac.office.powerpoint

Hope this leads you to your answers.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

Flash in PowerPoint for Windows is handled via an ActiveX control and
ActiveX controls do not work in PowerPoint for the Macintosh.

Flash in PowerPoint for the Macintosh are handled via an Apple system
plug-in for QuickTime. Because of this, it will not work in PowerPoint for
Windows.

Basically the two implementations are mutually incompatible.
