I as a user should have the right to discern what files I alow users to send
to me, NOT MICROSOFT!! It is not Microsofts job to "protect me from myself"
after all what the hell are virus scanners for. Rather than a blanket
disallow Level 1 attachments. The default should be to prompt, or at least
make it user defineable. And for the users who are too ignorant to know what
they should open or not, maby put in a wizard that at first run you rate your
self on email competency. If you say you are knowledgeable then it is set to
prompt otherwise it auto block the Level 1 attachments. Using the
ork/admpak/OutlookSecurity.oft if fine for exchange shops, although a bit
hokie in it's implementation. A poor user with a dial up ISP and using
personal folders, is stuck with what "Big Brother" lets them have. FIX THIS
"FEATURE" AND DON'T WAIT FOR OUTLOOK 2007 TO DO IT!!
