Yuri

I would like to know if Flash clips inserted in a PPT
will run with the Producer 2003.
Thanks

There is no issue with including Flash in your PPT presentation if the Flash
animation merely cycles through an animation. Special precautions need to
be taken if the flash animation features a form (though it is unlikely you
would incorporate something of this kind).

If you do have input fields in your Flash animation, you will need to make
certain that you provide some alternate way of navigate forward or backwards
from this slide, since the contained Flash animation will capture all input
making it impossible to change to a different slide using the mouse or
keyboard in a full screen presentation. A couple workarounds ... place a
link on the slide that contains the Flash element to facilitate navigation,
or use a timeout to trigger moving to the next frame.

Note: this is only an issue if the Flash element has input text fields,
otherwise just treat it as any other graphic. You could also disable the
input capability of the text field in the original Flash file to eliminate
the input capture issue.

To facilitate insertion of the Flash file into your PPT slide the eval
version of rChart, found here: www.robjects.com, makes the process easy.
