Flags in Public Folders

We are about to share our client database in a public
folder across our network, is there a way to use flags on
these contacts but specify which user's PC they flash up
on (or will they flash up on everybodies computer?)

Natively Flags or any other Reminder will not work on Public Folders, couple
of workarounds are a coded solution or an Add-in, for an Addin checkout
