Hi,

When I try to open a figure (JPG, GIF, ..) using Windows Explorer with the
option "Open with.", instead showing me the installed software, the figure
is opened with Notepad.

How can I fix it?

Thanks,

Clicking the "Open With" or "Choose Program..." option always opens the file
with Notepad?:

Hello, Ramesh,

I read this on your website, and I have read it on the MS IE page also but
it is not clear:

"Evaluation of Internet Explorer 7 should start now, but the software should
not be used on production systems in mission-critical environments. Internet
Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview will only run on WindowsR XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)
systems, but will ultimately be available for Windows Vista, Windows XP
Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Server 2003."
They do not make clear if it will be available for windows XP 32 bit pro and
home edition.

I think it will but their statment is confusing...

Hi John,

It will (if SP2 is installed). Yes, the statement looks confusing as you
said.
