Every few months or so my DVD drive suddenly loses its Autoplay
facility. IOW, despite apparently being set correctly to play a DVD
when it is inserted, it sits doing nothing.

This usually means I have to turn up my old notes, re-learn the
issues, try various registry changes, etc. Basically, a PITA.

Anyone know of a utility I can use that will automatically search out
the problem and fix it please? Or at least prompt me through various
options?

Many thanks TaurArian, that's exactly what I needed. Fixed it at once.
