I'm trying to insert multiple images on various slides but
one particular image will be in every slide. Is there a
way to insert the base image and fix it in position and
size (since PP tends to resize images everytime you insert
mulitple image files).

My intent is to have a seamless transition between slides
with the base image and highlights in the others.

Any ideas?

Sorry about that....i'm using PPXP. My only problem with
modifying the master is that I only need to do this for 15
slides or so and I don't want to change any others.

PowerPoint XP has support for multiple masters. You can make these 15 odd
slides share the same master - different from the masters of other slides.
Switch to slide master view and select either "Insert" | "New Slide Master"
or "Insert" | "Duplicate Slide Master".

While the master slide is an option...is it possible to do
something like this without creating a master. My reason
is that i need a minor change on this image in each slide.
In other words i would have to create 15 masters. Is it
possible to fix the image and be able to insert others
without powerpoint always repositioning and resizing it??
