Fixed size of colums - is it possible?

My table has a fixed width. All cells in the left column and in the right
column of the table are fixed as well (there I have logos/pictures). I have a
lot of columns in between that should be fixed as well. But after having set
the right pixel dimension by selecting entire column and entered it into
"cell properties", it still happens that the columns "live their own life",
i.e. when I try to write into a cell and the font size is too big, the column
width increase. Also if I try to drag the lines between the cells manually,
several columns in the table change in the strangest ways. My cell spacing is
0. I use FrontPage 2003. Would be greatful for any answer to this issue.

Table/cell widths and height values are minimums only and will always adjust to fix any content
insert that can not be wrapped to the next line, etc.

You will find it easier (I think) to switch to HTML/Code View to set your cell width and height
values, when working with more then one row/column.

Thank you Thomas and Rob for you answers. I think I will have to find some
way of coding this in HTML mode...
