To All That Have Replyed To My Posts,
About Hanging,program Not Responding,so On,,
I Have Had Made Great Steps Forward In Wittleing,
Out What Was Wrong With Pc,i Can Use It As You Can
See,i Am Not Sure Excatly What It Was??
Now The Only Thing Wrong Is When I Click Messenger
It Hangs And Now And Then I Get Error Box Windows
Has Encouted A Problem And Needs To Close-the Icons
On Desk Top Just Flicker And Then I Send Error Report And
Carry On With What I Was Doing No Probs,,
To Windows,i Could Not Cut And Paste The Results Or
Wright Them Down [far To Much Info,but I Did Get This
Much...error Signature Appname Exploer.exe
Appver:6.0.2900.2180
Modname:unknown Modver 0.0.0.0 Offset:00fb8ff4
C:\docume~|\paulhi~|\temp\359e_app Conpat.txt
I Have Not Had To Use Restore Disc,i Rose To The Chalenge
And In Doing So I Have Learned Far More Than I Would Have,
In 6 Months-
I Owe It Down To You All At Pc Banter!!1

Do Any Of You Know What The Error Report Means???

Keep in mind that PCBanter steals posts and posts your posts in real

Most of us have our crystal balls in the shop for repair. It probably means
that Exploer.exe [sic] crashed. Appver:6.0.2900.2180 means the version of
explorer.exe. Modname:unknown Modver 0.0.0.0 means XP has no idea what
module or version of that module caused explorer.exe to crash.

C:\docume~|\paulhi~|\temp\359e_app Conpat.txt
is probably
C:\docume~1\paulhi~1\temp\WER359e.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

docume~1 is the short name forDocuments and Settings

paulhi~1 is the short name for you.

WER359e.tmp.dir00 or whatever it really was, is/was the temporary folder
where the error report was located.

The appcomp.txt file is created when there is a conflict between programs,
drivers, etc. It is a reporting file used when uploading error reports to
Microsoft. Appcomp probably stands for Application Compatibility.
