Fix for RPC problem.

I just downloaded from this website and it seems to have
solved the problem. www.tr3y.com/xp.exe

I am pretty novice at all this but my buddy said this
would work and so far it has.

Never download updates from people other than Microsoft. You dont know
whats in that file. They could of edited the patch and now allows them to
run more code on your system without your knowledge.
 
This could very well be another virus or trojan. Do not download and
install files without knowing exactly what they are.
