I have a dual boot system with Windows 98 on drive C: and Windows 2000
on drive D:. I'm probably going to have to reinstall 98 soon. I'm
pretty sure this will mess up the Windows 2000 boot menu. What will I
need to do to repair the W2K boot menu?

First, make an ERD. Second, prepare the 4 Windows 2000 setup
diskettes --- just in case. Third, if Windows 98 is re-installed, do
not format Drive C, there are some Windows 2000 files that should
not be deleted. To re-install Windows 98, delete the Windows 98
folder and re-install using its bootup diskette. Fourth, after install of
Windows 98, run the Windows 2000 setup diskettes; check off the
repair function and repair only the boot sector. That should do it.

Ok, thanks for the response and the info.
