I have finally brought in an xp machine into my small office w2k network
(runs on a workgroup, not a domain).

Probably has been asked hundreds of times but......

How do I get to the xp box from w2k. I can see the machine but it will not
allow a network logon. Can't even see the shares. Users are set up on the xp
box with matching credentials to the rest of the network.

I know this should be a simple fix but I'm not finding in the help. I did
check and the firewall in the local area connection is turned off.

I have two more xp's coming in this week and I need to have a 2000 machine
connect to do backups.

Help is greatly appreciated.
