Paul,
I may not have been clear in my problem. All I am doing
is trying to make a cd using MP3's I have on my hard
drive. Everything goes fine and it looks like all the
songs were copied properly until I go to play the cd.
All songs play except the first song which is silent. I
am using the same cd's I've used for a long time so its
not the cd itself. Your help is much appreciated.
Well you've got me!!!
Is it any MP3 as long as it's the 1st track on the CD, do you know what
encoder was used to make the MP3?
I think my first call would be burning a CD with music that was encoded as
WMA, or even plain WAV... Perhaps a certain MP3 encoder/setting can cause
WMP to trip up when converter to CD-Audio?
Perhaps a re-install of WMP might give it a boot up the rear and sort it
out.
Have you got any other CD-burning software installed, I remember back may be
2 and a half years ago I had trouble with some CDs/tracks simply not
playing, and it was caused by some burner software, but I can remember what!
:-S
Sorry that's not much to go on...
