First slide to loop until mouse click?

Is there anyway to set up a PowerPoint presentation so
that the first slide can loop while the audience is
gathering in the room, and all the presenter would need to
do when she/he were ready to bigin is click the mouse
once? Is there an option on PPoint 2002?
