First slide stuck and not continue to the next one (build on office 2000 and presenting on office xp

I have built some presentation on office 2000 and now I can't present in on office xp

The presentation is staying stuck on the first slide and not able to continue unless pressing the mouse button
The time between slides was adjusted to 3 sec. in all the slides even in the first one..

After I am clicking the mouse on the first slide the presentation continue normall

what can i do ??

I'd guess that you have an animation that the advance timing is waiting on.

Bring up the animation task pane and look at each animation, specifically at
the timing. How long does it run, how long does it wait, what is it waiting
on? That type of stuff.

If a movie or sound is playing, (and does not span slides) then the
presentation may be waiting on that to finish.

Post back and let us know if these ideas fixed the stubborn advance.
