First picture from Nikon D70s

I had been busy working with the new camera and decided to post the first picture.

Its basically an engraved Crystal lit up from the bottomwith a MagLite Mini to show the engraving inside of the 2x2x3 inch piece of crystal decoration atop my main speakers. The image is not manipulated except for resizing and enhancing the contrast a bit. I used the D70s with the 55mm Micro Nikkor attached to it and exposure was 2 seconds at f/11.

I would appreciate any comments/opinions that you may have :)

That is very clever ... a photographic technician at work. :thumb:

Whoever etched the trumpet got it a bit wrong though ... there is a bit of a Sax in there. :D
* oh shutup at the back, I'd find holes in a hole *

I have some of those 'crystal' things ... ever tried a candle for lighting Quad ... so you get a rainbow shining through. ;)

ah, there you go, it's a Piccolo trumpet ... :D

I take back what I said ... the 'artist' is correct ... :p

Hey, if you gonna have a "candle lit weekend" don't forget to take the Lady along with you. ;)
 
Nowadays she is always by my side, she is the one who was holding the MagLite while I was busy with the camera ;)
