On Outlook 2003, when I create a contact that is not a person's name (e.g.
Massage Envy) and enter that name in the First Name field, upon save Outlook
will divide it as firstname = 'Massage' and lastname = 'Envy'. Whit that it
gets filed as 'Envy, Massage', which makes it an invalid concat entry for me.
How do I make it such that the full entry will just stay in the firstname
field?

what about for non-person non-company name entries like '** Check Bill
Balance'? when i enter it on full name name field outlook automatically puts
'Bill Balance' on the lastname field...

Why are you putting the biz name in the full name field instead of the
company field?

<FullName> is a derived field comprised of it's component parts. Ergo- if
you enter a value into the <FullName> field - Outlook will attempt to
decipher the various components (i.e. first, last, suffix etc). To enter any
value into a specific field (i.e. First or Last Name) - click on the button
labled <FullName> and fill in the appropriate field in the form that pops
up.

I'd put it in the company and Department (or job title) fields or change the
file as so it just uses the company name.
