First letter of words I type often don't show up on screen. How come Tnx.

This ay not e a hardware uestion. The preceeding sentence illustrates
my difficulty. What I typed was; "This may not be a hardware
question." What appears on screen is; " This ay not e a hardware
uestion." How come the first letters of several words don't show up
on screen? Thanks very much.
