firewire requirement

Has anyone used firewire with slow CPU?
I have 350MHz machine I want to put firewire card.
But the requirements says 500MHz.
I wonder I can still put that in.

You can, but you might not get blazing transfers.

Don't waste your time installing it.

It maybe worth a try if you really need to use it. If not try to
upgrade your PC first then install the firewire card.
