I have a P4P800 Deluxe that includes an onboard Firewire header. I'm having
the darndest time finding cables to connect to it. From what little I can
glean, Firewire cabling is unique in its shielding requirements, so doing a
"roll-your-own" solution with USB wires won't work. I've tried FrontX.com
and four or five other cabling places but can't find anyone that makes a
firewire cable with header pins. Anyone have any ideas where I can find one?

Asus manufactures firewire PCI brackets complete with cables and sockets for
the header. They include it with some of their motherboards. Ask Asus
about ordering one.
