I have a really high end system...running XP, Athlon XP
2500+, 512MB Corsair Ram in dual channel mode, 120GB
Seagate SATA HDD partitioned in 20GB increments, GeForce4
Ti-4200 w/128MB ram and AGP 8X all settled on an Asus A7N8X
n/Force 2 mobo.
I have 0 problems importing video from my sony camcorder
via firewire. I can create and edit movies with no
problems. I can render to WMV9 fine and playback on my comp
without a hitch.
Here is the problem: When I attempt to save a DV-AVI file
(finished product) back to my camcorder via firewire...the
picture is totally messed up. The only way to explain it is
to call it macro-blocking or huge pixelation of the video.
sound is fine.
I know for certain that the camcorder is not the issue
because I can export fine using my laptop which is only a
1.6Ghz P4.
Any help would be much appreciated!
