How do you get xp pro to always see
firewire drives?

as of now I need to unplug and plug drive in
XP will no see the drive if it's on and the computer boots.

On another xp machine I had it always saw the same drive no
matter what.

tahnks for any info

Does the PC have SP1 installed? Does it have Firewire drivers
installed and running? Is PnP working ok?

What type of fire wire drive are you using? I have an old
ADS box that is a bit tricky to get started, and an
Iomega that works ever time...
