I have a Maxtor One Touch 250Gb Firewire disk and a MOTU 828mk2 Firewire Audio Interface.
I have been using the Maxtor disk for a while but then plugged in the MOTU and the Maxtor disk has subsequently not been recognised by Windows.
I am afraid that the firewire port may have been affected since I am unable to access the disk.
Does anyone know how I can analyze the external disk to see if it is ok? Will Norton System Works be able to analyse the 1394 port?
