Dumb Doc

I am running Windows XP. I connect to DSL internet
through an ethernet connection. I installed a new
Firewire card and everytime I tried to use it (plug the
Camcorder in, etc) I lose my ability to connect to the
internet--my computer cannot talk to my modem. I think
it has something to do with XP creating network bridges,
but am not sure. Does anyone else have this problem and
if so what do I do?

Open the network connections and remove or untcik any
clients/protocols attached to your Firewire card.

DO NOT disable or uninstall from Device Manager as that will prevent
anything from working through the card.
