firewalls

Hi, I'm having problems setting up the firewalls for my
computer. When looking up in the help file how to set
these up it describes clicking on the "advanced" tab on
the connection's properties page. However when I open
the properties of the connection there is no advanced
tab, this applies to all of my network connections. I
have a network bridge which supports my cable connection
if that may be an issue. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Perhaps it is req'd to login as admin id? are you running with an ID
that has permissions to make network changes?
