I have heard various reports in the included Microsoft firewall. In XP.
Could we analyse this. (for freestanding computer)
If the firewall rejects incoming rubbish, does it matter that it does not
filter outgoings.I.e if I have nothing harmful.
Could we open a dscussion on this

I have windows 98 with ZoneAlarm pro. would not not do without it.

I you have a DSL connection you need it.

I find the WinXP firewall quite satisfactory. It stops Messenger service
spam and blocks the ports used by MSBlaster.
