firewall

I just bought a notebook computer running WindowsXP and I understand that it
comes with a firewall an anti-virus program. How do I turn them on or off. I
think I would like to disable the firewall and use the zone-alarm firewall.
My computer runs PC-Cillin; is this the program that is associated with
WindowsXP?

The Windows Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) can be turned off.
See the Help and Support and search for ICF - for details of how to do this.

Any anti virus product that came with your PC/Laptop is a third party tool
not supplied by Microsoft.
