I have a pc running Windows Xp Pro SP2. I connect to the internet using a
Linksys AG241, 4 port Gateway. I also run zonealarm firewall. I went onto
sheilds up internet vulnerablity testing site and tested my firewall. My
computer failed the test. A lot of the ports were open. I used to run this
test when all I had was a usb modem and my computer passed the test. Am I
getting false results because of the new gateway?

Hi Jake,

Actually many people have already replied in your orginal thread.I'd like
to suggest you don't post duplicate post because it may cause conflicts. I
make a summary here:

1, run Netstat -a to check if you have unwantted ports opened
2, Shields Up will only test the gateway's IP ports, not your PC's.

Therefore, please don't worry of the test result, it is not accurate.
