Greetings Abdul,
Unfortunately just opening up the ports won't allow this to work -- the NAT must support
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) for voice conversations to work (or have some type of built-in
support, which obviously doesn't exist since it's not working). Assuming you're referring to
a hardware device, a number of routers/NATs now support UPnP, but they may need a firmware
update. Check your router manufacturers website to see if there's an update for UPnP, or
simply reply back here with the brand and model of the router and we can quickly check to see
if UPnP is available.
For reference however, the ports used for voice conversations are 5004 through 65535 UDP.
If both sides are using MSN Messenger 6.x however, you should still be able to send files,
regardless if your router supports UPnP, as it will be able to send the file directly through
the Messenger server.
