Firewall (MS) will not enable on Win XP

I disabled several features in Admin services.
My MS firewall that was enabled is now disabled
and will not enable.
Can anyone tell me which settings in Admin services
affect the firewall ?

Go to My Computer-Control Panel-Administrative Tools-
Services.
Double-Click Internet Connection Firewall (ICF)/Internet
Connection Sharing (ICS). Click "Start" and
select "Automatic" in the startup type drop down menu.
Now it should be on all the time. Hope that helps!
