firewall connection

Sometimes when I run updates on my computer I my firewall keeps turning back
on and my music files can't be downloaded. How can I stop this from
happening?
 
It is not a good idea to run without a firewall. You do not state which
firewall is running, so it is difficult to help you..
 
What firewall are you using? Also, what program are you using to
download music files?
 
I'm running mcafee firewall.
