Well some things i would recommend is checking the event viewer to see if
there are any errors/warnings referring to the firewall client. Is the
firewall set to auto detect? I have had some problems when it was set to
auto detect. I set all the workstations in my company to manual and then use
the name of the server in the box. Try that. I also set all IE browsers to
manual proxy settings, instead of auto detect.
Check your ISA settings make sure everything seems correct. Make sure there
are no mistakes or wierd packet filters, site rules, etc. Double check the
main ISA server setting for incoming and outgoing request and click the edit
button and make sure everything is in the ordinary for your setup.
Do you use DHCP for your clients? I had a seriously slow logon once, it was
not 20 minuites but it was about 60 seconds or so. Check to make sure the
DNS settings are ok on your clients. My DHCP server was not handing out DNS
info automatically so i had to go into the DHCP config and add the DNS
server to the server options.
I dont know if any of these are relevant to your problem but i hope they
help.
