Firewall and other settings

In a limited user account - how can I make and set certain settings, like
turn on the firewall, etc? I get the message that the acocunt does not have
the right privledges to make that change, but when I log in as the
administrator to maket he change it does not seem to be there for the limited
user. Do I have to gice this account full access to set it up them change it
back to limited?

"Other settings" is too broad a term. You'll need to be more specific. For
example, power management settings apply to all users.

Thanks for your help, unfortunately, the power management will not allow
access in a limited user account, (give access denied message) and when
changed from the Administrator account does not reflect on the limited user,
am I missing something here?

Try making the change from the administrator account (i.e. don't use 'Run
As...' from the limited user account) and logoff all other open accounts
before making the change.
