The new SunJava refuses to install on my PC anyway :-/

It installed flawless on mine, I did uninstall previous versions first, and
it worked out fine. With the update for Firefox it turned out to be
incompetibal with that. I'm thinking of turning back to SunJava 5.0.10 when
this persists.

SiteAdvisor is not compatible with this version of Firefox. Not sure why,
but it will not install and Firefox will not update or make options for
plug-in available.

Updated Firefox and SiteAdvisor still works fine here. Are you running
the latest Site Advisor? My version is Version 25 Build 4969

Thanks for reply - I went back re-downloaded SiteAdvisor - now Version 26.1
and it now works with Firefox. Guess I got too impatient.

I don't know why this warning pops up when installing 2.0.0.1, but JRE 6
works without a problem.

Yep. And followed the gyuidelines on that error (for the previous
version). Still didn't help. Same on my work laptop and work desktop,
so I'll just have to stick with the old version :-(

siteadvisor would not update the first day i put the firefox update on one
of my computers, I waited 2 days and clicked the addons- then asked for
updates-then it installed new updates for siteadvisor
