Firefox - trouble with 'launchy' extension

Just d/l and installed the 'launchy' extension (opens your email client
on mailto: links) but on trying to re-open Firefox nothing happens and it
won't open at all.

Done a 'Google' and looked on the 'launchy' site but can't see a
reference to this problem.

Anyone else had this or ideas how to resolve? It's not just the Firefox
shortcut that has become corrupt, I can't open Firefox by going directly
to the .exe file either.

I must be missing something, but when I use firefox, clicking mailto links
open my email client, without the need of any extension?

Same for me. No extension needed.

Works with OE, but when I go back to Courier I get a message saying:
"Error opening mailbox 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Xi*':"

The last character is not an asterix but a small square box like the type
you get if there is no equivalent character in a particular character
set.
