Can someone tell me just where in the devil the profiles for these 2
programs in Vista RC-1. I save the data from these programs and would
like to place this data in the appropriate folders.

Thanks in advance

I found the location by going inside Thunderbird's account settings. I
couldn't find the folder using Windows Explorer, they seem to be hidden.
How do I un-hide the AppsData folder. I can't seem to find a folder
command to accomplish this job

Which Vista platform are you running, x86 or x64? On Vista x86 have you
checked under Program Files > Mozilla\defaults\profile or in Vista x64,
Program Files x86 > Mozilladefaults\profile

You can unhide folders by Clicking Start > Control Panel > (set to Classic
View) > open Folder Options > View (tab) > under Advanced settings: > select
the "Show hidden files and folders" radio box.

Now go to x;\Users\"Your user folder"\AppData

eg: c:\Users\Andre Da Costa\AppData

Thank you Andre, that did the trick. I had full access to the folders in
Beta 2 and I don't remember having to do the above. Again many thanks
