Firefox always shivers in Vista RC2. Is this fixed in RTM and is there a
way to get it to quit shivering? It's very annoying, and I don't
particularly care for IE. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Poor animal... you have put a fox in vista.. no wonder its shivering..

its scared as heck...

Put it back into XP, and you will see that it will be very happy there...

Can you explain what you mean by shivering?

Are you hiding the bookmarks toolbar?

If I remove the bookmarks toolbar, the shivering stops, but the next time I
start FF, the bookmarks toolbar is back and the shivering is back again.
Most kinds of customization I do to FF gets lost the next time I start FF as
well.

The shivering is when you go to a website the entire website will shake up
and down. When you remove the bookmarks toolbar, it quits.

You're always complaining. It's almost more annoying than this newsgroups
'just FYI' counterparts. That does not assist me. I am dual-booting XP and
Vista, so FF is both happy and afraid at the same time... Now back to my
actually answering the question I asked.

This is a known bug with firefox (I submitted it to bugzilla myself).
Its because of the Vista GUI not quite matching the firefox GUI and its out
by a few pixels, so the extra space is making it jumpy.
You should be able to stop it jumping by adding a bookmark to the toolbar.

Can't say I've noticed this, running FFox on Vista Business RTM at work, but
then i've not really been looking. I'll make a point of checking tomorrow
and post back to let you know.

This is probably not related but I have an earthquake update plug-in that
causes FF to shake when a new update comes in.
