I'm really not sure where to ask this, so I thought I would try here. I'm
not sure how to word this, but I will try my best.

When I type something into a search box or a field where I can imput things,
I see things I have already typed into a box. For example if I go to google
and type in "a" I'll see everything that I typed in starting with "a". Is
there any way I can get rid of this?

See:

Yes? Is that all? What should I see there and why? The answer
was very summary...

I don't think the given answer is correct anyway, I could be wrong but I
mrublaster doesn't do a thing for firefox mrus which seems to tbe question
going by the subject.

What you should do is to go to tools-->option-->privacy--->saved form
information and click clear. You can uncheck "Save information i enter in
web page forms and the search bar" if you don't want firefox to save such
info in the first place.

I also use an extension "X" which makes clearing such information faster.

Seeing all the replies to your message, your question was probably answered.
What I didn't see mentioned was that there's a several newsgroups for
Mozilla users, including netscape.public.mozilla.browser.

Beleive it or not, that is not a support forum, but a
developer discussion group. My previous post lists the
correct groups for user support.

Do that:
1. Go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy
2. Disable : Saved Form Information
3. Clear Saved Form Information
4. Clikc OK
5. Close Firefox
6. Restar it

Unfortunately that newsgroup is not very active. You would probably
have better luck posting your question here.

Top of Browser under Tools>Privacy>Saved Form Information, then uncheck
'Save information I enter in Web Page forms and the search bar.

OK?

The mozila.public groups are, according to the regulars, supposed to
be reserved for programmers. I had a couple of arguments about the
names some time back.

If you have Mozilla Firebird or Mozilla Firefox, click "Tools", select
"Options", click "Privacy", click "+" next to "Saved Form
Information", and uncheck "Save information I enter in web page forms
and the Search Bar". To clear previous searches, push "Clear" next to
"Saved Form Information".
