If i am searching for firefox extentions and see and extention listed
as: compatible with "whatever up to V.1.0"

Does this mean that if i have version 1.0.2 this extention is not
suitable or does "1.0" include any numbers following 1.0 upto any
future 2.0 release????

i dont want to corrupt my profile and have to reinstall like last time.

Thanks if you can help......A

=== read about conflicting extensions at the Mozilla forums, I would ad
the ext. "User Agent Switcher" works, but you should rt. click on it
(by the clock)and uncheck "check for Updates" , otherwise Firefox might
stall at startup=======

I'm fairly certain that up-to-1.0 extensions -- at least, any worth using --
will work with the 1.0.x series. I wouldn't say that about 1.1 and up,
though.
